Synopsis
If Anything Happens I Love You (2020) is an animated short film you can watch online on iFILM. Twelve minutes, almost no dialogue, drawn in charcoal lines and soft grey shadows. It follows a mother and father after the death of their daughter.
The couple share a house but live worlds apart — silent at the table, avoiding the closed door of her room. Their grief takes shape as shadow-selves that argue, drift, and reach for each other while the parents stay frozen. Then a small T-shirt tumbles out of the laundry, and memory pulls them back to the girl they lost. The ending ties to a school tragedy; better to meet it cold.
