Synopsis
Maxxx (2020) is a British comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. O. T. Fagbenle plays the title character — a former boyband star whose fall from grace involved drugs, tabloid headlines, and a solo career that never got off the ground.
He is trying to stage a comeback, mostly to prove to his supermodel ex-girlfriend that he is not the disaster she thinks he is. His only genuine ally is his adopted teenage son, who handles the situation with considerably more composure than Maxxx manages. Christopher Meloni, Jourdan Dunn, and Helen Monks round out the cast. The show runs as a sitcom but darker and more awkward than the format usually allows.
