Synopsis
The Lesser Evil (2022) is a Russian drama directed by Viktor Shamirov — stream it online on iFILM. Vika and Maxim still share an apartment and call it a relationship, but whatever was there has gone cold. Maxim wants a child, but he's infertile. His solution is to tell Pavel — the man Vika was with before him.
Pavel's friend Alisa frames it cleanly: Pavel donates, then walks away, problem solved. Pavel agrees. Then finds he can't walk away from Vika. The four of them end up at a music festival together — Polina Agureyeva, Alexey Rozin, Viktor Dobronravov and Yulia Grevtsova — and every arrangement that seemed settled starts to fall apart under a little pressure.
