Synopsis
Sharpe's Waterloo (1997) is a British military TV film you can watch online on iFILM, adapted from Bernard Cornwell's novel by director Tom Clegg. Sean Bean returns as Colonel Richard Sharpe — this would prove the final chapter of the long-running ITV series.
France, 1815. Sharpe has settled into a quiet life on a Normandy farm with Lucille (Abigail Cruttenden) when Napoleon's escape from Elba ends the peace. Back in uniform, he is assigned to the staff of the Prince of Orange — a commander whose recklessness costs lives. Hugh Fraser reprises Wellington. Paul Bettany and Alexis Denisof appear in support.
When the battle turns at the farm of La Haie Sainte, Sharpe leaves his post and organises the defence himself. The Chosen Men reunite one last time. For those who followed the series from the beginning, this is the send-off the character earned. Stream Sharpe's Waterloo (1997) on iFILM.
