Synopsis
Sharpe's Revenge (1997) is a British TV war film you can watch online on iFILM, part of the long-running Sharpe series starring Sean Bean. Director Tom Clegg adapted Bernard Cornwell's novel.
April 1814: the Peninsular War is over, Napoleon is heading for Elba, and Sharpe expects to catch his breath. Instead, French spy Ducos frames him for stealing Bonaparte's treasury. His wife Jane walks out. Sergeant Harper and Frederickson break him free, and the three of them cross a still-dangerous France as fugitives hunted by both sides. The mechanics of how an honest soldier gets buried by a lie — that's what drives this one, not the battles.
