Synopsis
Sharpe's Justice (1997) is the Sharpe episode you can watch online on iFILM where the battlefield is swapped for something messier. Sean Bean returns as Richard Sharpe; Tom Clegg directed from Bernard Cornwell's novel.
Summer 1814. Napoleon is gone and Sharpe's name is cleared. He's posted to Yorkshire — the rough mill town where he grew up — to command a local militia and put down a workers' uprising. The problem: the corrupt gentry expect him to be their blunt instrument, while the rioters are people exactly like him. It's the one Sharpe film where no one is actually at war with a foreign enemy, and Bean makes the soldier's unease feel earned.
