Synopsis
"Sharpe's Siege" (1996) is a British TV film you can watch online on iFILM, part of the Sharpe series adapted from Bernard Cornwell's novels. Sean Bean returns as Richard Sharpe in the winter of 1813, dispatched into the Pyrenees to seize a French fortification days after his own wedding.
He leaves his new bride Jane behind, and it turns out to be the wrong decision: a deadly fever rips through the British camp while he's stuck fighting for a fort with a treacherous commanding officer. Then his old nemesis Ducos resurfaces to make things worse. Director Tom Clegg — who helmed most of the Sharpe TV films — keeps the action grounded; the film was shot partly in Ukraine and Portugal. It's one of the more emotionally direct entries in the franchise, where the siege matters less than who might not survive it. Watch "Sharpe's Siege" (1996) online on iFILM.
