Synopsis
"Znahar" (2025) is a Russian comedy series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Nikita Andrienko. Kostya drives an ambulance in Moscow and owes money he does not have. His plan: board a random bus and leave. The bus deposits him in a southern village that has been waiting months for a new doctor — a certain Khristofor Sergeyevich.
The locals assume Kostya is him. He does not correct them. Denis Vasilyev plays Kostya as a man permanently two steps from exposure: too far into the lie to confess, not skilled enough in medicine to fully sell it. Nikolai Fomenko and Svetlana Permyakova as the villagers are the kind of ensemble that makes every supporting scene worth watching on its own.
The comedy runs on classic farce logic — each attempt to hold the cover together creates a bigger mess than the one before — and it executes that logic well. Stream "Znahar" (2025) online on iFILM.
