Woke (2020) is an American comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. Keef is a Black cartoonist whose whole approach has been to stay inoffensive — a cheerful, apolitical strip, a deal on the table, mainstream success finally within reach. Then a wrongful police stop changes his read on the world.

He starts seeing things. Inanimate objects talk back. The characters from his own drawings step off the page and argue with him. Lamorne Morris plays Keef as a man caught between what he now sees clearly and what saying it out loud would cost him professionally. The show was developed partly from cartoonist Keith Knight's real experiences — the animated inserts and surreal gags are baked into the format from the start.
