Synopsis
ÜberWeihnachten (Over Christmas, 2020) is a German comedy series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Tobias Baumann. Luke Mockridge — a well-known German stand-up comedian — plays Bastian, a broke musician who has hit rock bottom right before the holidays and heads home to ride it out with family.
Home is not the refuge he was counting on. A parade of unwelcome surprises kicks off as soon as he arrives: old grudges, inconvenient revelations, and relatives he had solid reasons to avoid. Seyneb Saleh and Cristina do Rego keep the ensemble sharp. Rated 18+.
