Synopsis
Knee-Deep (2021) is a Russian comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. Sanya is an unsinkable optimist with enormous ambitions and a height of exactly 135 centimetres.
A film career, love, a life in the capital — Sanya dreams big and sets off to conquer Moscow. At an audition he meets Alena, a tall, gorgeous actress, falls hard, and watches the romance derail almost at once. His acting break collapses before it even begins. But giving up isn't in his vocabulary; as the title puts it, every sea is only knee-deep to him.
It's funnier and warmer than you'd expect — less a tale of the little guy than a story about the nerve to dream against the odds.
