Synopsis
Drought (Sequía, 2022) is a Spanish-Portuguese crime series you can watch online on iFILM. An extended dry spell drops water levels in a border reservoir, and a village submerged for decades surfaces again — along with two skeletons. The forensic evidence points to murder, though both victims have been underwater long enough that almost everyone in the area had written the past off.
Investigators played by Elena Rivera and Rodolfo Sancho work a case where the border itself is part of the problem: two countries, one crime, a small community that gives up nothing easily.
