Synopsis
"Suspect" (2022) is a British-Belgian crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. Detective Danny Frater gets a late-night call: a body needs identifying at the hospital mortuary. He goes. He lifts the sheet. The woman on the table is his daughter Christina — estranged, someone he had nearly stopped knowing.
The official conclusion is suicide. Frater refuses it. He begins retracing Christina's final days, and every person he finds who knew her is hiding something. The forensic examiner has signed off on the case; Frater is rewriting it from scratch. The closer he gets, the more he discovers he never really knew his daughter at all.
The series runs as a chain of two-hander episodes — a new witness in each, a new layer of what happened. James Nesbitt carries it start to finish, with Eddie Marsan, Dominic Cooper, Sam Heughan and Richard E. Grant rotating across the table from him. Tight structure, exceptional cast.
