Synopsis

A foreigner brought in for a drunk brawl turns out to be impossible to identify — because according to US prison records, that man was executed six years ago. Mariana starts pulling threads and finds herself and Ewert caught between two countries' justice systems, officials who want the case closed, and a prisoner who may or may not deserve to be found. The further they dig, the clearer it becomes that someone worked hard to make him disappear the first time.
