Synopsis
Dropper (Капельник, 2022) is a Russian dramedy you can watch online on iFILM. By day Vanya is an anesthesiologist at a Moscow clinic. By night he moonlights as a "dropper," hooking up IV drips to detox the rich and famous after a binge or an overdose. Denis Prytkov leads the cast; Ilya Aksenov directs.
Vanya used to be the patient himself. His girlfriend Masha died of an overdose, her mother collapsed under the grief, and the guilt never lets go. The only way he can pay down that debt is cash for the mother's operation — so he drives from one luxury apartment to the next, reviving people whose money never taught them when to stop.
