Synopsis
Evil (2024) is a Soviet-era crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Moscow, 1979 — a celebrated ballerina's flat is cleaned out by pros, and the housekeeper who walked in on them never gets up again.
Detective Anokhin pulls in an old friend, reporter Yeltsov, to dig where the badge can't. Around the same time a safecracker nicknamed Makhaon — oddly sprung from prison just before — cracks a bank in Yerevan. The two jobs look unconnected. They aren't: the further Yeltsov reads the pattern, the higher up the rot climbs, into offices a journalist has no business near. Daniil Strakhov, Alexander Ustyugov and Pavel Trubiner head the cast.
