Synopsis
Seven Minus One (Sem minus odin, 2023) is a Russian crime mystery you can watch online on iFILM. There used to be seven of them — the tight friend group the whole school envied.
It all collapsed in a single day, when one of them was jailed for a teacher's murder and the circle fell apart. Years later Lera, now a police profiler, comes back to her hometown to recover from a case that went wrong. Her visit happens to land on the night of a class reunion. The six replay an old tape and start to notice how little about that tragedy ever added up.
Director Aleksandr Sukharev keeps the frame tight and the suspicion close to home. A slow-burn whodunit for viewers who like the guilty party sitting at the same table. Stream Seven Minus One online on iFILM.
