After a personal tragedy, Daniil Talich leaves Moscow for a quiet provincial town and takes a job as a librarian. Quiet doesn't last long. A body turns up in a dumpster near a building down the street — a young blonde woman. Officer Glikeria Davydova arrives to investigate: relentless, fast-moving, not the type to let things drop. Except the search turns up nothing. No body. The next morning, a missing-person notice in the local paper describes someone who matches exactly what Talich saw.

Sofia Zaika and Viktor Mikhailov lead the cast; the series is directed by Artur Rumynsky and Roman Yaroslavtsev.
