George Harrison: Living in the Material World (2011) — watch online on iFILM. Scorsese tracks Harrison from Liverpool through Hamburg, the Beatlemania years, a deepening pull toward Indian classical music and Vedic philosophy, the band's dissolution, and the 1971 Concert for Bangladesh — one of the earliest benefit concerts to operate at rock-festival scale. The film refuses easy beatification: Harrison had a temper, a dry wit and a spiritual hunger that made him a difficult colleague and a fascinating subject.
