The Marathon

The Marathon (De Marathon, 2012) is a Dutch comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Diederick Koopal follows four out-of-shape car mechanics in Rotterdam whose garage is about to fold — and whose combined fitness level is roughly zero.

Their plan to escape bankruptcy: find a corporate sponsor by running the city marathon. They hire an Egyptian immigrant as their trainer, and the gap between his expectations and their current condition drives most of the film's humour.
