Synopsis
Moskovskaya Borzaya (2016) is a Russian detective drama you can watch online on iFILM. Director Roman Prosvirin. Starring Olga Kras'ko as Major Alevtina Borzova, a decorated Moscow investigator who is effectively exiled from the capital after a personal crisis forces her to resign her post.
The new assignment: head of the serious-crimes unit in Nizhny Novgorod. The team she inherits is all-male and in no mood to be managed by someone General Grishin (Vladimir Litvinov) parachuted in from Moscow. Vladimir Reznik, Alexander Ratnikov, and Sergei Mukhin round out the ensemble — each keeping their own version of professional distance. Cases stack up from the start, and Borzova has to prove herself twice over: once to the city's criminals and once to the men supposed to be on her side.
