Synopsis
A live-TV scandal wrecks host Mark Nikolaev's reputation, and Not for Kids (2026) — you can watch it online on iFILM — opens with him trying to fix it in one grand, camera-ready gesture.
Mark tracks down Natasha, an orphanage graduate whose win on a singing competition somehow turned into an online pile-on. His plan is simple: find her, apologize on camera, rebuild his image. Natasha doesn't play along. She has her own terms, her own version of events, and zero interest in being a prop in someone else's redemption arc.
From there the film stops being about television at all. Take away a man's camera crew and social feed, and what's left is just him and another person, face to face. Director Anna Matison, working with Sergey Bezrukov, Fyodor Dobronravov, Maria Smolnikova and Viktoria Agalakova, keeps the sentiment on a short leash. Comedy first, melodrama second.
