Synopsis

Her mother, who once raised her without a trace of shame, has died of illness. The father left behind has spent years building a wall of silence around his daughters, terrified of what the world might do to them. Then an unavoidable trip comes up — Tokyo, and a grandmother the girls barely remember, a famous actress living far from their hideaway.
Katsuya Maiguma, Hana Yayama, Kimiko Yo and Susumu Terajima carry the ensemble across a tight 110 minutes with no special effects to hide behind. It plays less like fantasy and more like an honest study of raising a child who doesn't fit the world's rules. The Invisibles streams in full on iFILM.
