Satluj (2026) is an Indian crime drama — watch online on iFILM in the original Punjabi-Hindi mix with subtitles. At 164 minutes it runs long by any industry's standard, and none of that time goes to song-and-dance detours — it's spent entirely on an investigation that actually happened in Punjab at the tail end of the insurgency years.

Diljit Dosanjh — better known internationally as a singer than an actor — plays Jaswant Singh Khalra, a man who starts by looking for one missing relative. What he finds instead is a paper trail built to hide people who were taken at night and never brought back, alive or in front of a judge. The search for one aunt turns into a case against an entire machine built to make disappearances look like nothing happened at all.

Director Honey Trehan shoots it like a procedural, not a lecture — witnesses, files, the particular silence of people who were told to stay quiet.
