Synopsis
Prizefighter: The Life of Jem Belcher (2022) is a British-American historical drama you can watch online on iFILM. Director Daniel Graham chronicles the rise of Jem Belcher, a real bareknuckle fighter who clawed his way to the championship of England at the turn of the nineteenth century. Matt Hookings stars alongside Russell Crowe as his seasoned trainer Bob Meadowcroft.

Belcher moves through a world of tavern promoters, corrupt patrons and brutal opponents — each fight leaving more scars than the last. Crowe's Meadowcroft sees raw greatness in the kid, but knows the climb will cost him. The film keeps the focus on what breaks a man and what builds him back up.
