Synopsis
The Witch: Part 2. The Other One (마녀 2, 2022) is a Korean sci-fi action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Director Park Hoon-jung picks up where the first film left off: a top-secret program built to produce superhumans has fallen apart, and one of its subjects — a girl with no name, no memory, and a body that can do things no person should be able to — walks out into the open.
She stumbles across a local woman under attack from a criminal gang. She stops them. Then she stays. For a short while, she has something that looks like a family and a place to figure out who she is. That window closes fast. The organization that made her is sending people who were built the same way she was — and they want her back. Starring Cynthia and Seo Eun-su.
Park Hoon-jung frames the action with the kind of hard, precise choreography that Korean genre cinema does well, but the emotional core is a question: what do you owe a world that had no say in how you were made?
