Synopsis
"Good Times" (1974–1979) is a CBS sitcom you can watch online on iFILM. Eric Monte and Mike Evans created it, Norman Lear produced it — the same man behind "All in the Family" and "The Jeffersons." The Evans family lives in a Chicago housing project. Money is scarce. Jobs are scarcer.
Florida Evans (Esther Rolle) and her husband James (John Amos) are raising three kids and somehow keeping it together. Their eldest J.J., played by Jimmie Walker, became one of TV's breakout characters on the back of a single catchphrase: "Dy-No-Mite!" Janet Jackson joined the cast in later seasons, back when she was still just an actress. Six seasons, 133 episodes.
