Being Charlie

Being Charlie (2016) is an American drama directed by Rob Reiner that you can watch online on iFILM. Eighteen-year-old Charlie (Nick Robinson) breaks out of a youth drug treatment clinic, makes it back to Los Angeles, and walks straight into an intervention. Next stop: an adult rehab center his parents have already arranged.

He meets Eva there (Morgan Saylor) — restless, skeptical, and just as resistant to the program as he is. His father is running for governor, which makes Charlie's problems a political liability. The screenplay, written by Nick Reiner and Matt Elisofon from semi-autobiographical material, earns its drama by refusing the clean recovery arc.
