Synopsis
Murdoch Mysteries (2008), Season 18 — watch online on iFILM. Twenty-two episodes of the Canadian period detective show, set in a Toronto where forensic science is still a novelty and the murders keep arriving.
With Ogden away, the detective's house feels far too quiet, so Murdoch takes a room in a boarding house — where a chatty neighbour all but drags him into the death of a fellow tenant. That cosy, half-comic thread runs under the season's usual parade of cases: a man killed at a battle re-enactment, a host found dead at a Dickens celebration, a field strewn with decomposing bodies, an actor who dies mid-performance during Hamlet. A long-awaited reunion with Ogden at an English inn is cut short by another corpse, then nearly by an explosion. The back half drags in old adversary James Pendrick and the jailbreak of gangster Tony Petrucci.
