David Morrissey plays the stranger with complete conviction: sonic screwdriver in hand, a loyal companion at his side, and what sounds like a full set of Time Lord memories. Whether he is a future regeneration or something more troubling is the central mystery. While the two Doctors circle each other, the Cybermen are moving through the city's fog-soaked alleyways, assembling a plan bigger than anyone expects.
