Synopsis
Casino Jack (2010) is a Canadian criminal-comedy biopic you can watch online on iFILM. Director George Hickenlooper spent his final film on Jack Abramoff — the Republican superlobbyist who turned Congressional access into a personal revenue stream and walked into federal court in 2006 to face nearly six years for fraud.
Kevin Spacey plays Abramoff as a man who genuinely loved the game: Sonny quotes on his lips, biblical references ready for any room, total confidence that the rules applied to everyone else. Barry Pepper is his partner Michael Scanlon; John Lovitz plays the shady business contact who helps drag the whole operation into murder territory. The machinery is tribal casino money, favors for congressmen, and the assumption that nothing ever surfaces.
The tagline — "Everything is negotiable" — turns out to be both the strategy and the flaw. Hickenlooper plays it as dark comedy rather than outrage, which makes the collapse land harder. Stream Casino Jack (2010) online on iFILM.
