Uncle from Another World (Season 1)

Uncle from Another World (Isekai Ojisan, 2022) is a fantasy comedy anime to watch online on iFILM, about a man who spent seventeen years in a coma and woke up as someone else entirely.

Takafumi's uncle comes around in middle age, muttering in a language nobody recognizes and casually working magic from his hospital bed. As it turns out, his mind spent all those years in a fantasy realm — so he has no clue how a smartphone works, yet rattles off tales of trolls, elves and duels without missing a beat. Takafumi takes him in and starts filming the old man's adventures for the internet, slowly realizing just how spectacularly awkward his houseguest is. Takehito Koyasu voices the uncle.

Adapted from Hotondoshindeiru's manga, the humor rides on one sharp idea: the magic world treated this uncle far more kindly than 1990s Japan and its SEGA-versus-everyone console wars ever did.
