Bounce

Bounce (2000) is a romantic drama directed by Don Roos — watch online on iFILM. Ben Affleck plays Buddy Amaral, a Los Angeles ad executive who gives his seat on a Christmas Eve flight to a stranger so he can spend the night with a woman he just met. The plane goes down. Everyone on board dies.

Buddy buries the guilt in drinking, then works through a twelve-step program and decides to track down the dead man's widow. He finds Abby — Gwyneth Paltrow — and her two young boys, starts helping them without saying who he is, and gradually falls for her in a way that feels new and inconvenient. The longer he waits to tell the truth, the worse the eventual conversation will be. Roos doesn't soften the situation or rush toward resolution; the film earns its ending.
