Synopsis
The Best You Can (2025) is a rom-com you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Michael J. Weithorn. It reunites Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon on screen for the first time in nearly twenty years — a real-life married couple who have shared almost no screen time since the 1990s.
Sedgwick plays Cynthia Rand, a composed New Yorker with a life built on routine: a stable apartment, a sharp husband who is a professor twenty-five years her senior and starting to slow in ways she didn't plan for. Bacon plays Stan Olszewski, a security guard who's quick-witted, chronically underperforming, and arrives in her orbit after stopping a break-in at her building. Ray Romano and Judd Hirsch round out the cast.
