Synopsis
Toolbox Murders (2004) is a horror film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Tobe Hooper of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. The Lusman Arms is an old Hollywood apartment building — once glamorous, now crumbling through a slow renovation that keeps uncovering things better left sealed.
Nell (Angela Bettis) and her husband move in and almost immediately people start dying. The killings are brutal and methodical. But Nell starts to suspect the building itself is the point: strange symbols carved into the walls, rooms that don't appear on any floor plan, a history the management isn't volunteering. The more she digs, the less it looks like a simple murder spree.
Hooper conceived this as a loose reinvention of the 1978 original, and his version leans harder into the supernatural rot underneath the slasher mechanics — the Lusman Arms feels genuinely cursed, not just dangerous.
