Synopsis
Dragon Ball: Mystical Adventure (1988) is a Toei Animation action film — the third Dragon Ball theatrical feature — available to watch online on iFILM. Goku and Krillin have finished their training under Master Roshi and arrive at a grand martial arts tournament thrown by the diminutive Emperor Chiaotzu.
The competition is a facade. Someone close to the throne plans to grab the Dragon Balls — seven spheres that grant any wish — and use them to seize wealth and power. Tenshinhan and Launch are pulled into the chaos, and at 48 minutes the film moves at a sprint: one confrontation bleeds straight into the next. Voiced by Masako Nozawa, Mayumi Tanaka, and the rest of the original Japanese cast, the characters land exactly as fans expect.
The film is an alternate-timeline retelling of the classic Akira Toriyama manga, reframing how Goku first crosses paths with Tenshinhan and Chiaotzu.
