Invaders from Mars

Invaders from Mars (1986) is a science-fiction horror film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Tobe Hooper and starring Hunter Carson and Karen Black. It is a remake of the 1953 Cold War classic, with production design partly handled by artists who had worked on the original Star Wars sets.

A boy watches a spacecraft land in the field behind his house. By morning his father comes back wrong — flat-eyed, distant, marked on the back of the neck. Then the neighbors go the same way. Then the teachers. David is the only one who sees what's happening, and no adult will listen. Louise Fletcher plays the school principal, Timothy Bottoms the father, and Bud Cort an unlucky orderly.
