Synopsis

Radio DJ Stretch accidentally tapes Leatherface killing two callers live on her late-night show. That recording paints a target on her. Hunting the family is former Texas Marshal Lefty Enright, played by Dennis Hopper, who has spent years chasing the people who butchered his kin and is ready to walk into their lair swinging chainsaws of his own.
Hooper deliberately twisted his own 1974 classic toward grotesque farce, with a sprawling underground-lair set and gore effects from Tom Savini's shop. Released for years without a rating, it became a favorite among fans of horror that laughs at itself. Where the original meant to terrify, this one means to taunt.
