Synopsis
I Can Do Bad All By Myself (2009) is a Tyler Perry drama you can watch online on iFILM. When Madea catches three kids robbing her house, she skips the police and hauls them off to their only living relative.
That relative is their aunt April, a nightclub singer who drowns her days in liquor and leans on a married boyfriend for rent. She has no interest in raising sixteen-year-old Jennifer and her two younger brothers. Things shift when a new tenant moves in — Sandino, a Mexican immigrant who, without a single lecture, shows April she isn't past saving. Taraji P. Henson, Adam Rodriguez, Mary J. Blige and Gladys Knight round out the cast.
Perry once again blends his trademark Madea, a redemption melodrama and live gospel — Henson and Blige actually sing here. It's earnest, sentimental and openly faith-driven, made for viewers who want a warm story about second chances rather than subtle shades of grey.
