Synopsis
Madea's Big Happy Family (2011) is a Tyler Perry comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM. When Shirley gets a frightening medical diagnosis, all she wants is her children and grandchildren around one table — but her three grown kids are buried in their own messes.
Enter Madea, the loud, gun-toting Southern grandmother Perry plays himself under a wig and padding. Loretta Devine, Shad "Bow Wow" Moss and Cassi Davis round out the cast.
Adapted from Perry's own stage play, the film keeps the Madea formula intact: blowout family arguments, a gospel number near the end, and a sermon on forgiveness wedged between the broad jokes.
