Synopsis
Harrison's Flowers (2000) — a war drama you can watch online on iFILM, with Andie MacDowell, Adrien Brody, Brendan Gleeson and Elias Koteas.
Fall 1991. Pulitzer-winning photojournalist Harrison Lloyd takes one last assignment in Yugoslavia — a regional conflict nobody expects to escalate. He promises his wife Sara he'll make it home for their son's birthday. He doesn't. Missing somewhere in northern Croatia, officially declared dead.
Sara doesn't accept the verdict. She flies to the Balkans and pushes through active front lines to find him, alongside war correspondents who are watching the siege of Vukovar up close. Directed by Élie Chouraqui, shot partly on location in Eastern Europe, the film doesn't soften what it depicts. A French production with a strong American cast that received far less attention than it deserved. Stream Harrison's Flowers (2000) online on iFILM.
