Synopsis
"The Seventh Juror" (Le Septième Juré, 1962) is a French crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Georges Lautner. Bernard Blier plays Grandin — a respectable, middle-aged pharmacist in a small provincial town. One afternoon by the lake he kills a young woman sunbathing nearby. No witnesses. He walks home and resumes his ordinary life.
Her boyfriend gets arrested. The evidence lines up against him. And then Grandin is called to serve on the jury at the trial. He is now the one person who knows with certainty the defendant is innocent — and the only way to save him is to argue for acquittal without explaining how he knows.
