Synopsis
Around the World in 80 Days (Le Tour du monde en 80 jours, 2021) is an animated family comedy you can watch online on iFILM. This French-Belgian take riffs loosely on Jules Verne — except the cast is all animals.
Passepartout is a bookish little marmoset who has spent his whole life dreaming of far-off places. He falls in with Phileas, a brash, money-hungry frog who bets he can circle the globe in eighty days. Off the mismatched pair go, racing across jungles, deserts and oceans, bumping into bizarre creatures and tumbling from one scrape into the next. Director Samuel Tourneux keeps the pace brisk and the world deliberately bright and storybook.
