Synopsis

Greg Heffley enters middle school armed with big ambitions and almost no social skills. He wants fame, popularity, maybe a spot at the cool kids' table. What he gets instead is a parade of small disasters, a best friend who doesn't share his priorities, and a journal that documents the gap between who he thinks he is and what actually happens.
