Synopsis

Lee Man (Aaron Kwok) once dreamed of being a real artist, but galleries only wanted work by his ex-girlfriend, a rising star. Desperate, he took an offer from a charismatic criminal mastermind (Chow Yun-fat) and joined a gang printing flawless US dollars. Now, bargaining for his freedom, Lee Man walks investigators through how it all happened, though not a word of his account can be trusted.
Director Felix Chong, who wrote the Infernal Affairs trilogy, builds the film as a con with a false bottom: the criminal's testimony adds up to one story while the truth turns out to be something else entirely.
