Synopsis
Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue! (2006) is an animated series you can watch online on iFILM, a gadget-heavy reboot that pushes the franchise in a spy-caper direction.
When Shaggy's wealthy Uncle Albert vanishes and is presumed dead, the inheritance lands squarely in Shaggy's lap. He pours it into a souped-up Mystery Machine that morphs into planes, subs and just about any vehicle a chase demands, plus a loyal robot butler. Trouble is, Uncle Albert left enemies behind. The worst of them, the scheming Dr. Phineas Phibes, wants the world for himself, and only Shaggy and his ever-hungry Great Dane stand in the way.
Franchise voices Frank Welker and Casey Kasem keep the sound familiar even as the format changes. Expect a sillier, lighter tone than the usual Mystery Inc. ghost hunts, with more tech and fewer haunted houses. Good fun for kids and anyone raised on the original.
