Synopsis
LOL: Last One Laughing (2018) is an unscripted comedy competition you can watch online on iFILM. Ten professional comedians are locked in a room together and given one rule: make everyone else laugh, but don't crack yourself. The last person still straight-faced walks away with the cash prize.
Host Eugenio Derbez — Mexico's best-known comedian and actor — presides over the chaos. The catch that makes the format genuinely brutal is the cast: these are working comics who know exactly how to find a weak spot and exploit it. Keeping a blank face while a colleague unleashes their best material directly at you turns out to be a very different skill from performing in front of a crowd.
The format originated in Japan and has since been adapted for markets across the world; the Mexican edition ran multiple seasons and built a strong following across Latin America and beyond.
