Synopsis
Beavis and Butt-Head (1993) is Mike Judge's cult MTV cartoon, and you can watch it online on iFILM with every episode in one place. Two dim teenagers from Highland, Texas slump on a couch, snicker at music videos and scheme about scoring with girls.
The pair skip class, half-heartedly flip burgers at a fast-food joint, and stumble into chaos they always survive — the people around them rarely do. Work ethic, manners, basic sense: none of it registers. They're rude to everyone, each other included, and seem genuinely unaware of it. The core of each episode is the duo parked in front of the TV, riffing on real music videos with that signature "huh-huh" laugh and the odd line that's sharper than either of them realizes.
Judge voiced both characters himself and, in the process, sketched a whole portrait of the 1990s MTV generation. The deliberately crude animation eventually grew into King of the Hill, spawned a feature film, and the show has been revived more than once since. The humor is proudly stupid and provocative — it clicks for anyone who appreciates satire dressed up as idiocy.
