After the Wedding

A wealthy New York media executive named Theresa offers a donation large enough to change everything. Isabel flies over to close the deal. Then she meets Theresa's husband, and the trip becomes something else entirely.

Julianne Moore and Michelle Williams share the screen in a film built almost entirely on what the two of them do in a room together. Billy Crudup plays the man between them. Freundlich adapted the 2006 Danish original by Susanne Bier, keeping the slow-burn structure of secrets surfacing at the worst possible moments.
