Highway to Heaven (1984) is an American fantasy drama series — all seasons available to watch online on iFILM. Michael Landon created the show, produced it, directed many episodes and took the lead role himself as Jonathan Smith, a probationary angel sent down to sort out human problems one at a time.

His partner is Mark Gordon, a retired and rather skeptical ex-cop played by Victor French — Landon's longtime friend from their Bonanza days. The pairing is straightforward: Jonathan needs someone grounded to work with, and Gordon needs something to believe in again. Each episode drops them into a new situation — a family in crisis, a community torn apart, someone running out of chances.

The series ran five seasons on NBC starting in 1984 and found its audience not through spectacle but through consistency: two men doing small good things in a world that mostly ignores both of them.
